Loss of heat
The curtain wall was installed around the basement stairs to close the ladder to the heat loss during the winter. The curtain panels are heavily insulated and hung from a ceiling track that can be bent to wrap around the bottom of the stairs. Simply closing the curtains, an additional layer of insulation helps control the heat or air conditioning loss, reducing bills and makes the house more comfortable.
