How to decorate a dining room buffet
Buffets and sideboards for dining are useful to serve a crowd , but when empty are heavy at the base, as if only the lower half of the wall were decorated. A dining area with a low and a high Chinese buffet cabinet will be very unbalanced if the area above the buffet is just an extension of blank wall. A mirror is a good choice for the wall above the cabinet or dresser, making the room seem larger and reflect the food and decor when you receive visits.
Hang a mirror or a framed picture above the buffet. Add small pictures, if desired. In a formal dining room, make a symmetrical arrangement by placing on each side of the mirror photo frames with which to match.
Put a pair of tall buffet on each side of the lamps to achieve balanced and formal look. For a casual room, use a lamp and balances available with a vase on the other side.
Add a great for the center of your buffet bowl. This can be the centerpiece on the dining table when using the buffet for lunch.
Fill the bowl with an arrangement of flowers or foliage to match your color scheme. Add one or two small to serve as a sugar and a small parts tray.
